- [PASSPORT TRAVEL BELT](https://www.inspirationaltraveladventures.com/passport-travel-belt/) - While traveling have a secure plan for your PASSPORT. Don't lose it while traveling either. Have a plan in place for where you are going to keep it securely when you don't need it, and how you plan to easily access it when traveling through airport security checks while remaining to keep it in a secure location. It is worth using the room safe to lock it up when it is not on your body. Do not ever leave it in any way accessible at your accommodations while traveling. You are "so up a crick without a paddle" if you lose this document while traveling!
- [UNDERWATER/WATERPROOF VALUABLES POUCH](https://www.inspirationaltraveladventures.com/underwater-waterproof-valuables-pouch/) - Whatever you do, DO NOT wait to buy this once you are traveling! You will not find this readily available. Believe me! We tried! I had bought one, then mistakenly left it at home, unpacked! AHHHH! So, we had to snorkel in shifts to keep someone watching over our valuables on shore! NEVER AGAIN! Plan ahead!
- [BASIC SNORKEL GEAR](https://www.inspirationaltraveladventures.com/basic-snorkel-gear/) - it is really nice to travel with your own gear. Make sure that your fins are not short. Short fins are great for body surfing or boogie boarding, but for snorkeling you really do want them longer and adjustable around the ankle. Ocean snorkeling involves a high concentration of salt on your equipment, so avoidance of zippers on your snorkel gear bag is ideal unless you are meticulous on rinsing your gear bag after each use. I prefer a mesh drawstring bag to avoid zipper failure.
